• No, you have to connect your phone through the USB. Bluetooth is only for audio.

• I've only had it for a week now. Not sure if you can use google maps using bluetooth just yet. I know if you use your USB connection you can use your phones google maps and it will show up on the big screen. Sorry I cannot help you with more information at this time....
