Q: QuestionDoes the video-out option work on this while driving? I want to use the DVD player to play on a TV in the back of our van while driving. It doesn't need to play on the dash screen

• A:Answer I can put a dvd in it and it will play on the tv for my kids while i drive. if you want it to play in the dash with out the ebrake on you need to ground it to some metal in the truck. This system works awsome. i e had it for about 8 months now. Not one issue. Problly the best after market radio ive ever had.

BEST PART is it connects via network to your phone so audio quality without being “plugged in” thru your phone is as good as being tethered to your dashboard! This requires you to download the Kenwood and Waze apps from the Google play or Apple store onto your smartphone. It works great on mine once you get the apps sync'd up.

• A:Answer This could be a fault of the actual movie or type of extension it is. What type of video is it? This unit accepts MPEG1, MPEG2, MPEG-4, MKV, WMV Do you get audio from any movie to work? I recommend to call Kenwood customer Care. This should definitely work in your favor
