You only need to turn on the dimmer settings, instead to set it on auto, that's works for me.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This is my next big gripe about this unit. The Kenwood dimmer function doesn't do anything. I've double-checked the wiring, and verified the signal wire from the vehicle, but the deck won't dim. My Samsung Galaxy 10+ with android auto does show waze with a dark grey/black background, but is still rather bright. If you're having the same experience that the dimmer doesn't function at all, contact Kenwood support and report it. But they didn't have a solution for me 6 months ago.
