If the USB cable is in the back, how would I access it? null

Purchase a short USB extension cable and run it to a convenient location. Previously I ran one to the glove box and pulled it out as needed. When I bought this radio I installed a “panel mount” USB plug with a 3 foot cable attached. Installation was pretty simple — just needed a round whole in the dash to mount to. Now there’s no cable dangling from my glove box anymore making for a much cleaner appearance.

Mine was installed with the usb cable run into the glove box for easy access.
