“Does this radio require a USB cord for apple car play or is it wireless?”

• Wireless Bluetooth but requires USB for Apple CarPlay. It comes with a USB but I had them connect the system to my existing USB in the console.

• So which is it? There are two responses. It does and it does not need USB for CarPlay.
