“I recently bought and had the Kenwood DMX 7705S installed in my car. Now when i have the volume turned up a little bit half way, the things turns off! Why would it do that? GeekSquad did the installation.”

Mine just shuts off repeatedly for a few minutes before a warning message comes up telling you to turn the car off/on.
