A Best Buy worker would help you to figure this all out for your specific car if you go in and ask! They’re very helpful as I just went through this process. (They did order the wrong harness at first for me so that was a pain...but other than that it was perfect!)
A:AnswerIt does work my iPhone XS Max without a problem at all. I have Onstar in my vehicle but not sure if it is activated since I don’t use it. There are two USB plugins for this that I had installed through the dash. It charges both iPhone X’s Attached to it but aappke CarPlay prioritizes the first phone plugged into it rather than a particular USB. It also has dual Bluetooth as well which I haven’t really tested out since able to operate and charge through USB. Works great.

A:AnswerIt will work as long as you don't mind replacing the unit it less than two (2) years. Mine just died after 18 months. Out of Warranty repair $ 400 to replace the circuit board. I would suggest looking at other manufacturers. Sony's unit is the one that I am considering for the replacement.
