“Had this unit installed by Best Buy. Having the problem some reviewers have stated - date/time reset to January 05, 12:00am when I start up my vehicle & turn the unit on. Has anyone been able to find a solution? I have done the latest firmware update.”

Havent heard of this but make sure units firmware is up to date http://www.kenwood.com/cs/ce/receiver/firmware/2016/2016td/eng.html
