“Is there an on off switch on the amp? If not,can I have you guys wire a switch for it so I have a choice to use it or not if I take my speaker boxes out of the vehicle.”

Yes, there is a wire connected to your car radio that hat turns on and off the amplifier when your car stereo turns on or off. However, if you want a switch on that line, just insert a low power switch. Or, you can connect a larger switch on your power line.
