“How does Best Buy Install this? Is harness used or how is it held near the License Plate? Can they install on car that previously did not have a rear camera?”

I installed it myself, very easy to do, you can install it on one of the license plate screws.

Mine is installed through a custom bumper and looks like it was made for it. Best Buy did a great job. It’s been through storms, snow, and off roaring. Best Buy’s install team did a great job. The harness was run through my frame so there’s no exposure.

They did a great job installing on my truck. Depending on the vehicle you may need to purchase additional harness (mine is a crew cab dodge 2500 with full size bed and didnt need it). They can install where there was no previous camera also.

This camera has a mount that is not attached to license plate.
