turn off wifi auto join on the other wifi on your phone I.E. home wifi your phone will keep going to the better wifi speed with only your dash cam wifi on auto join it will now stay on the dash cam don't for get to turn on your other wifi back on when done with the dash cam down load, i find taking the sd card out and using the computer to read the sd card, you get a lot better video plus wifi down load to phone is slow from dash cam to phone 2 min for 215 MB video
