• The KDC-X704 comes with a microphone. Don't know about the plug compatibility, ask Best Buy installer.

• The KDC-BT778HD does come with its own microphone. As for the power harness 16pin, you would need to use the new one that comes with the new radio. The older Kenwood 16pin will not work with the newer radios.
