What is the sell by / expiration date? null

K-cups last 'forever' as long as their seal is not broken. Eventually the seal will fail and the cup contents will be ruined. Each cup and box has a best by date printed on it which is the manufactures recommendation. If you search Google you will find plenty of people saying they have kept cups on the shelf for years before drinking and found no difference in quality vs new cups. Typically you'll find best by dates for coffee cups to be 3-8 Months and cocoa to be 6-12 Months according to various sources.

The expiration date is May 23, 2017.

Sell by is the date the vendor should sell it by, and expiration date is the last date of peak quality.
