Hello Jolene and thank you for your question. The My K-Cup Reusable Coffee Filter is designed specifically for use with ground coffee and we do not recommend using it with loose leaf tea. We hope this information is helpful!

I buy the tea bags and put in my cup. It is worth it for the hot water temperature.

Hm, no, I wouldn't do that. Tea leaves need more steeping time. Use a tea ball for your tea leaves, put the tea ball into your mug, and brew just on the hot water setting.

What I do is put tea bags in a reusable cup. (leaves still in the bag) 1 tea bags for 6 ounces, 2 tea bags for 12 ounces, you get the point. Works great! I now don't dislike making tea!
