A:AnswerFrom the manual:
Keurig warrants that your brewer will be free of defects in materials or workmanship under
normal home use for one year from the date of purchase. It is recommended that you fill out
and return the warranty card enclosed with your brewer so that your purchase information
will be stored in our system. Keurig will, at its option, repair or replace a defective brewer
without charge upon its receipt and proof of the date of purchase. If a replacement brewer
is necessary to service this warranty, the replacement brewer may be new or reconditioned.
If a replacement brewer is sent, a new limited one year warranty will be applied to the
replacement brewer.
This warranty only applies to brewers operated in the United States and Canada.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that
vary from state to state and, in the case of Canada, from province to province.
A:AnswerYes the tank is detachable and the tank is plastic; not sure how you would not know that. If you are using bottled water that could be the source of the plastic taste. I have zero issues with the taste as I use bottled water that I drink regularly. There is a huge mart store that I no longer purchase water from due to the plastic taste. Good luck
A:AnswerHi and thank you for your question. The brewer will indicate that it needs more water before the tank is empty, this is normal brewer behavior. We hope this helps!
A:AnswerHi Cher and thank you for your inquiry. The K425 Brewing System has a Favorite Brew Setting feature and an Auto On/Off feature which programs your brewer to turn on or off automatically at set times. We hope this information is helpful.
A:AnswerI researched this and I learned that there is no difference in the coffee brewer. The difference is based on the merchant who is selling it. For instance I found the K475 at Kohl's and Bed, Bath & Beyond, while the K425 was at Best Buy. They say the different merchants might have different extras in the box.
A:AnswerNot really sure about the difference. When I had some leftover coffee pods/cups that would not be read by Kuerig I cut off the top of a used one and placed it over the lid and it read it just fine. I don't have that issue anymore because I only have those that work in this machine.
