The stock stereo can only put out so much. It would be a good idea to upgrade the stereo first. I would suggest getting a stereo with a 340 watt amp built in for better quality sound and then upgrading the speakers. That is what i did and i am glad i did.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had to force fit them by drilling additional holes. Since it was covered by the door, I didn't really care. I don't know what your original speakers are, but my liberty had infinity speakers, but they were blown, so a true comparison was impossible to make. But I am very happy with their sound. My liberty is a limited model and did come with an amplifier upgrade.
