For maximum performance of your speaker systems, KICKER recommends using an amplifier that is rated to produce X Watts RMS that is within +/- 20% of your speaker systems RMS rated power. So, with a 300 Watt RMS rated speaker system, KICKER recommends using an amplifier that falls within the 240-360 Watts RMS range. Always keep in mind that smaller amplifiers will also sound great but just not get you the full output (SPL, loudness) potential of your speaker systems.
