• A:Answer Due to my little knowledge about subs, this might not be the answer you need. But what I do know is that unless your stock (or aftermarket) stereo can support the power intake that the sub needs then you'll need to get an external amplifier to help supply it. You'll also need a cable kit to wire it to you're battery. Sorry for my lack of knowledge, hope this helps a bit!

Q: QuestionIs there a way to make it only play bass? The bass output is good but it seems like it is also trying to slightly play vocals and that doesn’t sound clean. I don’t want any vocal sounds from this sub, just strictly bass. How can I achieve this?

• A:Answer You would need to be running the sub from either the sub only output on your stereo or from an amp that is only getting the sub output from your stereo. If you are running the sub on the same output as your other speakers then you will continue to have this issue. If you are using the same outputs you can always turn on the hi-pass filter but then you will loss the high notes from the rest of your speakers.

• A:Answer You need to look at the RMS of your amp because it is probably somewhere around 600 watts. It would blow this speaker. You need to atleast 2 12s or a 15 inch sub to match your amp. The kicker sub is a great choice. I cannot believe how good it sounds however you need 15 and you will be impressed.
