- Answer Easy even a little to much power. I'd set the gain to 75% with two 10in.

- Answer It's better to have a little bit more power on the amp then you turn down the gain. For the price it is good for your 8inch but you can go down in power sure and still be ok.

Questionwill this be enough power?IM planning to buy this amp to power 2 jl 12w3v3-4? Its a 4 ohm sub, 500 rms and 1000 max watts . was wondering if this amp could power the sub to its potential?

- Answer Yes, this amp would power both of your subs. This amp will run 2 600RMS subs. You will just need to ensure that you do not turn the amp all the way up so that you do not blow the subs since they are under the RMS of the Amp.

QuestionCan this amp blow out a 12 inch CompR sub?I bought this amp along with a kicker compR 12 inch sub that's 2 ohm. I had it installed by geek squad after a whole day of having my car at the shop. It worked the day I picked up the car. I went in the next morning as I also got a Alpine power pack installed for my speakers and I had my subwoofer off. When I got out of the shop to have my speaker issue addressed, my subwoofer suddenly stopped working. I'm not sure what happened. I think I might have blown the subwoofer. Is it possible for this amp to blow out the CompR 12 inch subwoofer? The sub puts out 500 rms.

- Answer Yeah it is but you would know because they would smell really burnt also you would see smoke. I think maybe just a wire got disconnected from your Alpine install, also it is posable to blow your 12 with this amp. If the Amp was set all the way up and you played constaint bass notes for like more than five minutes maybe.
