I have no ability to gauge your expertise or capability in this area. A:AnswerI put this under the rear "half seat" in an F-150 supercab. This is the truck with half doors that open backwards. So seat is very short. But it is high, so I don't know what kind of room in the Golf. Dimensions should be listed, make a cardboard box as a template and try to fit it.
A:AnswerHow do you have it hooked up. If you headunit does not have RCAs just tap into the which ever set of speakers you want. If aftermarket unit you will need to put male RCAs on the Kicker speaker wire ends. You can slice it or buy a set, Kicker makes one.
A:AnswerProduct doesn't state that it's water proof. If I were to put it on a boat it would be under the captain chair or somewhere where water doesn't really get to.
A:AnswerThe KICKER Hideaway is a self-contained subwoofer system powered by an integrated 150-Watt RMS amplifier. The subwoofer in the Hideaway is specifically designed for use in that system and not intended for use outside of that enclosure or amplifier.
