- Answer This is not a loaded subwoofer, in the sense that it does not have a built in amplifier. This is an enclosed subwoofer meaning that it is just the cone and the box nicely put together. You will need to purchase an amplifier of equal or greater rms to be able to run this subwoofer.

QuestionI purchased this type of speaker before. And had the voice coil would go out. And i had it professionally installed by best buy. I think it was just a manufac defect . Have you had similar issues with this model?

- Answer Had a similar issue with a different sub by kicker also installed by BB but now after reading this question I have second thoughts on now purchasing this one. Or I'll just purchase and be sure to buy extended warranty.

- Answer Not sure what dimensions your seat is, but you can get a seat riser to add space under the seat if needed.
