The KICKER 48TRTP102 10" Down-Firing Enclosure presents a 2-ohm load to the amplifier connected to it and is rated to handle 400 Watts RMS/800 Watts Peak. For maximum performance of your speaker systems, KICKER recommends using an amplifier that is rated to produce +/- 20% Watts RMS of your speaker systems RMS rated power. So, with a 400 Watt RMS rated speaker system, KICKER recommends using an amplifier that falls within the 320-480 Watts RMS range. Always keep in mind that smaller amplifiers will also sound great but just not get you the full output (SPL, loudness) potential of your speaker systems.
