Q: QuestionWhat amp do I need for this subwoofer? I have in my shopping cart the kicker cx 1200w amplifier. it's too much?

• A:Answer It’s a sub. Not an amp. Maybe you mean dual voice coil? No. It’s a 2 ohm load at the speaker connection. Get a 600 watt amp and you should be good
