Queen, this KitchenAid® Microwave does not include a probe. The sensor cooking means that the Microwave will automatically adjust the cooking time based on a menu of preprogrammed menu driven cycles. We hope this helps!

Sensor cooking seems to refer to its ability to detect when the food starts to steam, thus letting it calculate the remaining time to stay on. Like doing a baked potato for instance. Bigger potatos take longer to steam, and therefore require longer to bake.
