- Answer Hello! There is a Dishwasher Safe Air-Fry Basket that is provided with the Microwave. We recommend using the short convection rack and a microwave-safe, ovenproof baking dish. Other then that we can only recommend microwave safe dishes. Thank you for your inquiry on our KitchenAid appliances.

QuestionLast model we purchased had t he electric cut into because of the internal design of the door. The internal electrical wire was being cut every time we opened and closed the door. Has this been corrected?

- Answer Hello. It can be vented outside, but it also can be installed with a Recirculating vent. We hope this helps.

QuestionI do not need the venting option as I already have a hood above our range. I need it to replace an existing built-in microwave in the cabinetry. Can this model be installed without the vent into a cabinet?

- Answer Yes, by default it vents out of the top at the front first 2-3 inches but it can be adjusted for various venting arrangements.

QuestionI do not have an access to vent outside and was told to make sure I get a product that has the best capabilities to suck all the exhaust so it just does not resurface into the kitchen. Thanks for any help!

- Answer they have 1/4" bolts to support it and you have to drill holes in the cabinet above. I would make 100 percent tahe cabinet above is plenty strong and the bottom is fairly thick these 2 bolts basically hold the weight of the front

- Answer I don’t really know the answer to that question. The microwave does have glass rotating and on the very top it does have like a heating element for when you’re doing air frying and convection.
