You should factor the warranty into the price of the product as it should be expected to fail, my KitchenAid convection microwave did. After paying over $649 for the microwave and installation, I'm not very happy about it not even lasting 2 years.

Hope to never use it, but it's nice to have; especially since in this case the unit is more or less attached and a royal pain to have to work on....
