“Kitchen aid over the cooktop convection microwave. Ykmhc319-es-3 Is there supposed to be lit up numbers and connect or microwave section. It appears mine solely lights over cooktop and I cannot see the display without turning on another room light.”

Hi Loi, on this particular model there is a window that illuminates on the control board. The numbers and other selections are not intended to light up.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The display is actually very well lit. It may be the way your kitchen is configured. I only turn the light on the low setting when I use it. The numbers are supposed to be lit up so that it makes it easier for you to see what time it is. Hope this helps I have no complaints about this microwave. Kitchenaid is the granddaddy of appliances.
