Q: QuestionCan the bottom freezer on the counter depth 4 door refrigerator be divided into part refrigerator and the other a freezer?

• A:Answer NO, both are freezers. Right lower side will only go as high as 19 degrees (a soft freeze). Despite the other answer from Kitchenaid, I have confirmed with Ken Kollasch of Whirlpool.

• A:Answer Hello! We are sorry to hear about your concern. Please see below for some troubleshooting tips. Is the power supply connected correctly? Make sure the power cord is plugged into a 3-prong outlet. A 115-volt, 60-Hz, AC only 15- or 20-amp fused, grounded electrical supply is required. It is recommended that a separate circuit serving only your refrigerator is used. Use an outlet that a switch cannot turn off. Do not use an extension cord. Check the outlet. If you are unsure if it's working, plug in a household lamp or other small appliance to verify that it is. Check circuit breaker or household fuse: Check whether a household circuit breaker or Ground Fault Circuit Interrupt (GFCI) outlet has tripped. If so, reset the breaker or GFCI. If the refrigerator is on a fuse box, check to see if a fuse has blown and replace it if necessary. If the problem continues, call an electrician. If this does not resolve your concerns, we would recommend contacting KitchenAid® at 1(800)422-1230. We are available M - F 8 am to 6 pm EST. They will be better able to assist you.

• A:Answer Hello! For model KRQC506MPS KitchenAid® Refrigerator, To ensure proper ventilation for your refrigerator, allow for a 1/2" space on each side and at the top. Allow for a 2" (50 mm) space behind the refrigerator. If your refrigerator has an ice maker, allow extra space at the back for the water line connections. When installing your refrigerator next to a fixed wall, leave a 3 3/4" (95.3 mm) minimum space between the refrigerator and wall to allow the door to swing open.
