“Is there a film over the control panel that needs to be removed? I'm seeing some bubbling on the control panel which looks like a film, but don't want to try to peel it off if it's actually a defect.”

Hi TiaP, When the appliance is installed it will have a protective film on it that will need to be removed. We hope this helps.
