Installed this refrigerator and I assumed that the water coming out from the door would be cold. Is it supposed to be cold or is it supposed to be lukewarm? null

The first 1/2 cup comes out lukewarm to even warm. After that it is chilled. I keep an extra cup nearby that I remove the first warm bit. I assume it is water in the line that is not near the refrigeration.

I get cold water. Its not ice cold but definitely not lukewarm. That said, the best way to confirm is to put a thermometer in the water and measure the actual temp and compare to water you consider cold enough. What might be cold to me, might be lukewarm for you :)

Hello LJM1! The water from your dispenser should be 'chilled,' but not ice cold. The water temperature should be approximately 50°F or 10°C.
