- Answer Mitch, the Refrigerator should work properly. Once you plug it in, wait 24 hours before you put food into the refrigerator. If you add food before the refrigerator has cooled completely, your food may spoil.

- Answer Hello, When you first install your refrigerator, make sure that the controls are still set to the “mid-settings.” The factory recommended set points are 37°F (3°C) for the refrigerator and 0°F (-18°C) for the freezer. QuestionMy rough opening is 36"w x 69.5"T x 27D. Is this enough space for this refrigerator?

- Answer Hi Kawdad. The depth is 34 3/4 inches, the height is 69 inches and the width is 35 3/4 inches for this KitchenAid® Refrigerator. You will need to allow ¹⁄₂" of space on each side and the top and also allow 1" of space behind the Refrigerator for proper ventilation. We hope this helps!

- Answer tGee, hank you for your inquiry. Magnets will work on this model, but we do not recommend leaving them on the surface on the Refrigerator, as they can cause discoloration. Your best bet is to keep them in a container when not needed and only using them when you have paper to act as a buffer against the surface.

- Answer Hello Tmom! The ice maker should produce approximately seven to nine batches of ice in a 24 hour period and ice bins will hold 3.5-4 lbs of ice.
