“My white light comes on indicating cycle is done but we still hear a noise like a pump or something still on. Is this normal?”

5506, on some models it is also normal to hear a humming noise after the cycle is complete. Some models are equipped with a fan, which will run for approximately 50 minutes after the "Clean" light has come on. This gives additional air movement to dry dishes, and remove heat.
