Yes there is a wash arm for the third rack. It is tight. We only use it for lids or a long knife. What ever you use it for it can't be higher than the top of the rack.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is a miniature wash cylinder arm on the top above this third rack which showers down on the items in the third rack, yes. Also there are adjustable tube sprayers in the second rack that are usually used for bottle and larger cup washing and you can fold those in an up position when not using and they can also spray the third rack from below as well. We haven't found these to be necessary , however it is an option. This dishwasher is the best I have ever had, it is super quiet and does a superb job of washing all our dishes. We do recommend using RINSE AID liquid, especially when washing larger loads. Hope this helps!
