I don't know if it's automatic when choosing ProCycle because I haven't used that cycle yet, but you can certainly choose to turn heated dry on. Same with the high temperature wash, sanitizing wash, and extended heated dry options. The dishwasher also remembers your settings for each cycle, at least as far as I have experienced.
