“What color is the dishwasher without the panel (in case I want to change up the look of the kitchen)?”

I'm fairly sure it's black. My installer traded out the door for us so I never actually saw it, but whenI looked on youtube at videos the panel they removed was black.

Is metal color, but this dishwasher needs to have a panel installed if not doesn’t look good

It is a combination of black plastic and metal... it was not designed to be without a panel and would look unsightly. Furthermore, without the weight of the panel, the door springs shut really fast and doesn’t stay open.
