“The question was asked if there was an indicator light on the exterior showing if cycle was finished and the answer was no, there is not. On the video for this model it stated there was a subtle indicator on the exterior. Explanation?”

When cycle is complete, the word CLEAN illuminates on the exterior black screen in front as well as on top where the controls are located, It remains until the dishwasher is opened.

Mine has a display on the front that tells when it is washing, drying and when dishes are clean.

Yes, there is a horizontal LED progress display on the front. It's not visible until the cycle is running.

In small but definitely readable letters - the word "clean" appears on the exterior indicating the cycle is finished.
