That is correct. I’m not having any problems with fingerprints though. I have purchased the Stainless steel cleaner and if need be clean any drips with it. Just use a soft cloth and clean with the grain of the surface. I have the trash compactor and refrigerator to match. Do the same procedure when needed, but surprisingly I find I don’t have to clean very often.This dishwasher was just installed a few weeks ago, but I must say that I love it!! And my husband who cares nothing about such things does, too. Easy to load, drawers glide with ease, and dishes come out gleaming. We love this product.
