Hello, for model KRMF536RPS per the Owner's Manual, https://shorturl.at/5d6Kz To ensure proper ventilation for your refrigerator, allow for a 1/2" (1.25 cm) of space on each side and at the top. Allow for a 1" (2.54 cm) space behind the refrigerator. If your refrigerator has an ice maker, allow extra space at the back for the water line connections. When installing your refrigerator next to a fixed wall, leave a 3 3/4" (9.5 cm) minimum space between the refrigerator and wall to allow the door to swing open. Thank you for your inquiry about our KitchenAid appliances.

"While the refrigerator placement in your kitchen is important for flow and the creative process, there are also some hard-and-fast rules that will help ensure your refrigerator works properly and lasts as long as it should. To ensure proper ventilation for your refrigerator, allow for a ¹/4" space on each side and at the top. When installing your refrigerator next to a fixed wall, leave 2¹⁄2" minimum clearance on each side to allow for the door to swing open. Do not install the refrigerator near an oven, radiator or other heat source because that may cause it to work harder to stay cool. The fridge must be near an electrical outlet. If your fridge has ice and water dispensers, it must also be near a water line."
