• Depends on the size of your pitcher or pot... it's really not very tall - more traditional glass height. However, the opening is wide enough where mine will tilt into it and fill just fine. The good part is it tells you how much water (in ounces) you are filling, so if you want xx ounces, you can add just that much.

• Yes - there is plenty room . It is WONDERFUL. I love this fridge and I love that my friend recommended it to me to buy. Food storage is a breeze. My cheeses stay edible longer than any other fridge I've had.
