It does take quite some time for that fan to stop running this is my 2nd kitchenaid wall oven combo and my 1st one did it as well.. You cannot turn it off it's a safety feature. my unit is brand new it's extremely accurate with temperature and cooks very well. gets to 350 < 5 minutes the reason I had to replace my old one is because it was not heating to temperature correctly and taking forever to pre heat And the microwave part of the unit went bad and it was too expensive to repair. My old unit was about 8 to 10 years old.
