Questionhow do you get the appliance to work. I can not get the pieces together

- Answer Top twist to the left to remove. Container twist to left to remove from the base. Blade pulls out. Reassemble by replacing container on base and twist to right, replace blade and put top on and twist to right. Press down with your thumb on top of handle. As long as you lined the pieces up it should work great.

- Answer Depends. What are you trying to accomplish with the carrots? It can chop it, puree it & grate it. You will need to cut the carrot into smaller pieces prior to adding it to the processor.
