It requires 220 volt power and is designed for direct connection (no plug or outlet) to 4 wire (two hot, one neutral, one ground) power supply. Not advisable to use a plug and outlet.

The unit does not come with the plug, so you'll have to purchase one from the store or from a hardware store (Home Depot or Lowe's has them). The plug can be attached to the cords of the oven and then plugged in. The stores usually have two different kinds of 4-prong plug attachments, so check the outlet in your wall to see if you have the "U" or "L" 4th prong. These are shaped differently and are not interchangeable. Some hardware stores have a 4-prong plug that can be made into either the U or L. That's the one I usually buy.
