“Does this trim kit fit kitchen Aid model KMCC5015GSS? I read somewhere else that the microwave is too small so there are lots of gaps using this trim kit.”

This trim kit is adequate. I would just make sure that it matches your other stainless steel products before buying. There is a difference in style. There was an issue with gaps during my install. We split the difference as well as leveling and raising the microwave a quarter inch... it was that close. Overall it looks good, the gaps are even and pleasing to the eye. Adjustments were necessary.
