does it have cook shield finish? null

Hello adjf. This KitchenAid® does not have a cook shield finish.

My Kitchen Aide Refrigerator does not have print shield and it has places where it has rust. I am worried about purchasing a stove top without print shield because there would be so much more food and spillage on it!! I noticed a review that said there were spots of rust showing up. Why don't they have a protective surface?
