What is the cut out size for this gas cook top ? null

Hello gascook- The cut out dimensions for this cooktop are: Cutout Depth (in) 19 13/16 Cutout Depth Max (in) 20 Cutout Height (in) 5 1/4 Cutout Width (in) 35 3/16 Cutout Width Max (in) 35 5/8

I have a 36” Whirlpool cook top and I was told I would have to cut the granite to fit this 36” Kitchen Aid. Not sure how much they will cut but the contractor said he will have to make three cuts. One in front and on both sides. I have not decided to make the cuts as I may replace the granite with quartz?
