A:Answer As far as everyday use, we've had no problems with scratches, but we do our best to maintain our appliances. We've trusted Kitchenaid for almost twenty years. In that time, this is only the second appliance we have had to replace. We have six other Kitchenaid appliances still running strong, including the built-in microwave and oven combo next to our new Kitchenaid refrigerator/freezer that can be seen in the picture below.
