A:AnswerNo, the doors do not self-close. My though is they do not, because the seals are so tight. The refrigerator keeps cold stuff cold and frozen stuff like a rock and does not constantly run.

A:AnswerIt is not too small, but I like to put more ice in a bowl in the freezer to have extra ice on hand if I ever need it for the ice chest. It takes about 12-24 hours to fill the bucket to capacity.
