A:AnswerWe had an old 34”:Jenn aire. The cabinet was 36”. Our countertop people trimmed it out to fit what the specs say. Be aware that the manufacturer’s specs are WRONG. You need the cooktop itself for the actual measurements.
A:AnswerBuy a cast iron griddle at Walmart, hardware store or anywhere. Put it on top of burners and use that. Much easier to clean than cleaning the stove.

A:AnswerWhat do you mean by “ rough opening” ? Whatever that means. Look at SPECS. It clearly states the dimensions. Take those measurements and roughen them up however it suits your needs.
