• A:Answer Hello Rg, From the Installation Guide: This canopy range hood is factory set for venting through the roof or through the wall. Q: QuestionWe just bought the Kitchen Aid 42 inch island vent a hood. Do we need a makeup air vent? I am reading various info and am confused. The vent is 600 cfm, we live in the Dallas area and have an open concept kitchen/living area. Help please.
