• I think it depends on the model. I expected my stove to be a circle middle burner but it was oval. Unlike most brands and contrary to general understanding the griddle does not go in the middle. The manual states it should be used on the far right side. It does work well there, but honestly most folks want access to the other burners while they use the griddle. I also believe it mostly works OK in the middle. This stove only has one power burner and the other full size burner on the right side so using the griddle on the right uses your only other large burner other than the oval. Finding oval cookware is difficult but I noticed that my regular circular pots fit nicely in the middle and over the oval burner.
